Alyssa is a fourth-generation Mainer, who was raised with an appreciation for hard work, resourcefulness and practicality. She learned about local government at a young age, watching her mom in roles such as City Clerk and Assistant City Manager. During college, Alyssa worked for a Maine municipality where she gained experience in areas such as communications, public meetings, elections and budget preparation. After graduating law school, Alyssa continued working in municipal government where she took on roles in economic development and human resources, ultimately serving as an Assistant Town Manager.
Alyssa is intimately familiar with every aspect of local government and the wide range of services that local governments provide. She is also keenly aware of the meaningful impact that local government has on the everyday lives of Maine’s residents and communities. Her goal is to provide legal services to local governments in Maine that enable them to serve their communities in the most efficient and effective manner possible. She is invested in the organizations she represents and committed to offering counsel tailored to their needs.
